Awaken evokes the feeling of waking up to a sunny morning, the warmth of sunlight pouring in the windows, and discovering an increasing sense of optimism, energy, and confidence as the day unfolds. This piece was commissioned by Scott Harbin and the 2015-16 Branksome Hall Grade 8 Band (Toronto, ON).
